IndiGo adds flights to Abu Dhabi, Dubai from Lucknow airport from July 12

Officials said on Friday that IndiGo will add two daily non-stop flights to Abu Dhabi and Dubai from Lucknow Airport from July 12.

A spokesperson for Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport (CCSIA) said in a statement that after adding flights to Abu Dhabi and Dubai both onwards and back, the average international flights at the airport will increase from 13 to 17 flights per day.

“Abu Dhabi will be the new destination for Indigo coming from Lucknow, while the airline will restore operations to Dubai from July 12. Last month, Lucknow Airport added two flights to Dammam and four flights to Abu Dhabi and Dubai. From next month, the total rate of international flights will increase to 17. than 13 flights a day.”

The daily non-stop flight from Lucknow Airport to Abu Dhabi will depart at 18.20 and the flight from Abu Dhabi will arrive in Lucknow at 03.25. The Lucknow-Dubai flight will depart at 13:30 am and the Dubai-Lucknow flight will arrive at 22.20.

Lucknow Airport has successfully added three carriers AirAsia India, Aksa Air and Thai AirAsia to start operations in the state capital.

On average, around 18,000 passengers travel through Lucknow Airport daily via 120 flights.

The airport statement stated that in the first quarter of 2023 to 2424, the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf recorded nearly 1.55 million passengers.
