Ashiana Housing’s sales bookings jump 2-fold to 1,313 crore in FY23
Ashiana Housing Estate recorded a more than double jump in its sales bookings to Rs. 1,313.43 crore in the latest financial year due to strong housing demand.
Sales bookings for Delhi-based Ashiana Housing, which specializes in senior living, amounted to Rs 573.25 crore in the 2021-22 financial year.
According to an investor presentation, sales bookings by volume rose 75 percent to 25.86 thousand square feet during 2022-23 from 14.76 thousand square feet in the previous fiscal year.
Sales price improved by 31 per cent to Rs 5,080 per sq ft in FY23 from Rs 3,883 per sq ft in the previous financial year, driven by “increased pricing across projects and shifting mix towards higher priced projects”.
The company constructed approximately 17 million square feet in the last fiscal.
During the period from 2022 to 2323, Ashiana Housing launched 5 new projects and 8 new phases in existing projects, with a total area of 29.46 thousand square feet.
Recently, Ashiana Housing announced an investment of Rs 275 crore to develop a housing project in Pune for senior citizens.
The project extends over 11.93 acres and will be developed in four phases.
In terms of financial performance, Ashiana Housing’s turnover and other revenue increased to Rs. 425.19 crore in the latest financial balance sheet from Rs. 233.59 crore in FY22.
Its net profit stood at Rs.27.88 crore in the 2022-23 financial year against a net loss of Rs.7.04 crore.
