Thomas Cook India’s arm, Kanoo Travel to form joint venture in Saudi Arabia

Desert Adventures Tourism, a wholly owned subsidiary of Thomas Cook India, and GCC-based global travel group Kanoo Travel have signed an agreement to set up a joint venture in Saudi Arabia.

The collaboration will bring together two travel trade organizations in the Middle East, with the goal of creating the most comprehensive destination service company in the region, according to a statement released on Wednesday.

Thomas Cook (India) Chairman and Managing Director Madhavan Menon said: “The collaboration will ensure a range of extensive and exceptional destination services in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.”

Desert Adventures is a destination management company based in the UAE, operating in the GCC and Jordan.

“Our partnership with Desert Adventures Tourism combines our collective experience, industry knowledge and innovative approach to deliver exceptional solutions and services,” Yusuf Bin Ahmed (YBA) Kanoo, Saudi Arabia, Vice Chairman and Head of YBA Kanoo’s Strategic Business Unit Ali Abdullah Kanoo said.
