Sensex, Nifty open higher on optimism over US debt ceiling talks

BSE Sensex And NSE Nifty It opened higher on Thursday, as sentiment improved with advances in Debt ceiling negotiations in the United Stateswhile investors also braced for quarterly earnings from several large companies.

The Nifty 50 index rose 0.48 percent to 18,271.30, while the S&P BSE Sensex rose 0.53 percent to 61,895.50 in early trade.
