Hyderabad to host G20 Agriculture Ministers meeting from June 15

decisive G20 Agriculture ministers meeting will be held in Hyderabad for three days from Thursday, From June 15, 2023 to June 17, 2023.

“This event will witness one of the key influencing discussions where world leaders will exchange ideas to address global possibilities in achieving sustainable agriculture,” the union’s Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare said in a tweet on Tuesday.

Union Tourism Minister G Kishan Reddy said on June 12 that three agricultural working group meetings were held earlier in Indore, Chandigarh and Varanasi. Last meeting in Hyderabad.


“The main agenda of the meeting includes food security, sustainable agriculture for food food, women-led agricultural development, agriculture, biodiversity and changes needed in the agriculture sector to counter climate change,” Reddy said.

“Besides India, 29 other countries will participate in the three-day event,” he added. Key people from 10 international organizations will also participate.
