Global asset management company State Street Corporation to add 5,000 jobs in Hyderabad
worldwide Asset management company State Street Corporation will expand its operations in Hyderabad by adding 5,000 new jobs.
With this, the city will soon host the second largest State Street office after its headquarters in Boston, United States.
The announcement was made after the company’s leadership team met Telangana Industries Minister KT Rama Rao in Boston.
The Minister has been informed that some of the global roles of Heads of Accountancy, HR Mobility among others will be based in Hyderabad as the current center in the city has gained increasing prominence.

Job roles will primarily be in the areas of money management, custody services, and asset management.
The center plans to add new positions for software engineers and data scientists who will be experts in the areas of data analytics, artificial intelligence, and other emerging technologies that support fund management on State Street.
The company’s Center of Excellence was opened in Hyderabad in November 2017.
Initially, it was envisaged that it would expand to around 1,000 employees to support the administration, janitorial and other services of the establishment. But over the years, State Street has exceeded its expectations and today, it will add more than 5,000 jobs in Hyderabad, said a press release.
