Bajaj Finance increases FD rates by up to 40 bps

Bajaj FinanceBajaj Finserv’s lending arm increased on Wednesday Fixed Deposit Rates (FD) up to 40 basis points.

After the increase, the 44-month period of private tenure for seniors will call for an interest rate of 8.60 percent per annum.

It added that the new rates were revised upwards by 40 basis points on deposits with maturities ranging from 36 months to 60 months.

Depositors under the age of 60 can earn up to 8.05 percent annually, while senior citizens can earn up to 8.30 percent annually.

The revised rates will be applied on financing contracts from Bajaj Finance on new deposits and renewals of outstanding deposits up to ā‚¹ 5 crore, it said.
