Aureus Investment, promoter of Sona BLW Precision sells 3.2% stake

Sona BLW Precision promoter Aureus Investment Pvt Ltd on Wednesday sold a 3.2 per cent stake in the company for Rs 957 crore through an open market deal.
As per aggregated transaction data available with NSE, Aureus Investment sold Rs 1.90 crore shares, equivalent to 3.2% stake in Sona BLW Precision.
Shares were unloaded at an average price of Rs 503.73 per lot, taking the deal value to Rs 957 crore.
After the latest deal, the shareholding in Aureus Investment was reduced to 29.8 percent from 33 percent (as of March 2023) in the company.
BNP Paribas Arbitrage also offloaded more than 99.91 thousand shares of Sona at an average price of 541.61 rupees apiece, taking the deal value to 541 crores, according to data on the NSE.
The Government of Singapore, Societe Generale and BNP Paribas Arbitrage have acquired more than Rs 1.21 crore shares of Sona BLW Precision.
Sona BLW Precision shares jumped 5.98 percent to close at 565 rupees per share on NSE. During the day, the stock touched an intraday high of Rs 573.45 apiece on the stock exchange.
