UPL SAS launches sustainable pest control solution for soyabean, cotton
UPL Sustainable Agri Solutions (SAS), the integrated AgTech platform of UPL Ltd. , announced the introduction of Argyle, a cost-effective, sustainable and innovative solution, specifically designed for soybean and cotton crops.
Argyle combines Acetamiprid 25% and Bifenthrin 25% Wettable Granules (WG), using an environmentally friendly WG formulation that dissolves quickly in water, improving canopy coverage and effectiveness, the company said in a statement.
With lower dosage requirements per acre, Argyle is a cost-effective solution that promotes sustainable farming practices. WG’s formulation ensures easy handling and eliminates the risk of spillage, drift or dust formation during application, resulting in cleaner air and healthier soil. The company claimed that it was safe for the environment and the applicators, setting it apart from other competitive solutions in terms of cost.
This environmentally friendly product provides effective control on a wide range of pest classes, including whiteflies, aphids, gassers, ladybugs, and belt beetles. Argyle’s dual action mode helps prevent pest resistance, ensure long-term sustainability in pest management practices, and reduce the need for additional applications.
For best results, it is recommended to use the product 40-45 days after sowing in cotton and 20-25 days after sowing in soybeans during the fall season.
Ashish Dupal, CEO, UPL SAS, said, “By introducing Argyle, we aim to provide farmers with a cost-effective solution that not only addresses their pest control needs, but also enables them to adopt environmentally responsible practices, ultimately improving yields and profitability. increasing.”
