CFTRI offers short course on spices and flavours

The Central Food Technological Research Institute (CFTRI), under the supervision of the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), will conduct a five-day short-term training program entitled “Spices and Flavors: Current Trends in Processing, Formulations and Quality Evaluation”, from October 9 to 13.

The training will focus on new processing methods and essential aspects of quality analysis and regulatory standards.

The program will discuss product formulation, improvement, organoleptic qualities, and evaluation.

Qualifications and fees

The medium of presentation and interaction for the training program is the English language. Knowledge of the subject matter is essential. The fee is INR 13,000 per participant.

Nagarajan, principal scientist in CFTRI’s Department of Spices and Flavor Sciences, is the course organizer. Raghunandanan MV is the Institute’s Short Term Courses Coordinator.
