Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark made her much-awaited return in their second preseason game against the Brazil National Team. Having missed the first game, all eyes were on the star as she came back to her old hunting ground, the Carver-Hawkeye Arena.
In familiar territory, Clark was the star attraction as the court emblazoned with her number and initials, bore witness to her scoring the first points of the game, a 24-foot running pullup jumpshot. On the back of her game opening three, Fever got out of the gates with a hot start (8-0).
Clark missed her next three shots, two from mid-range and one from downtown as she settled into the role of a primary distributor, setting the stage for Kelsey Mitchell until she was subbed out with five minutes left in the first quarter
