Zydus Wellness net profit rise 9% YoY to Rs 145 crore in Jan-Mar quarter

Zydus Wellness Ltd on Wednesday announced a 9 per cent increase in consolidated net profit at Rs 145.33 crore in the fourth quarter ended 31st March 2023.

Zydus Wellness said in a regulatory filing that the company posted consolidated net profit of Rs.133.3 crore in the same period last year.

It added that total consolidated revenue from operations amounted to Rs.712.98 crore during the quarter under review compared to Rs.639.78 crore in the period last year.

Total expenses for the quarter were Rs.580.23 crore, up from Rs.510.34 crore in the same period last year.

For the financial year ended 31st March, consolidated net profit for 2023 was Rs. 310.37 crore as compared to Rs. 308.87 crore in the previous year.

The company said total consolidated revenue for FY23 from operations was Rs.2,254.79 crore as against Rs.2,009.1 crore in FY22.

Zydus Wellness said five of its brands — Glucon-D, Sugar Free, EverYuth Scrub, Peel Off Face Mask and Nycil — maintained their leadership positions in their respective categories in March 2023.
