Wipro ai360: Wipro to invest $1 bn in AI over 3 years, launches new platform for tech
IT services company Wipro has launched the first artificial intelligence (AI) ecosystem that will put technology into every platform, tool and solution it uses and offers to customers.
Along with the launch of Wipro ai360, the company has committed to investing $1 billion to enhance its AI capabilities in the next three years. Fueled by this new investment, the company said Wipro ai360 will help usher in a new era of value, productivity and business opportunity through the application of AI and generative AI.

This is exactly why Wipro’s ai360 ecosystem puts responsible AI operations at the heart of all intelligence work “It aims to empower our pool of talent and be ubiquitous in all our processes and operations, as well as the solutions we offer to clients. We are ready for the future that is driven by artificial intelligence.”
Wipro ai360 will bring together 30,000 data analytics and artificial intelligence experts with the company’s technology and advisory ecosystem. Company expertise in cloud, partnerships, data and analytics; Design, consulting, cyber security and engineering will be leveraged to develop new solutions.
The company’s Lab45 Innovation Center will be a key part of the Wipro ai360 ecosystem, providing customers with the talent, training, and scale as well as the research and co-innovation capabilities needed to accelerate AI adoption. The $1 billion investment will help strengthen Wipro’s AI, data, analytics, R&D and platform capabilities, and build new consulting capabilities to help clients adapt to change and unlock new value through AI.
The company will accelerate investments in technology startups through Wipro Ventures. In addition, the company will launch the GenAI Seed Accelerator Program, which will provide selected GenAI-focused startups with the training necessary to become enterprise-ready.
In order to achieve these goals, the company will train all 250,000 employees in the fundamentals of AI and the responsible use of AI over the next 12 months and will continue to provide more personalized and ongoing training to employees in specialized AI roles. Wipro will develop a curriculum that charts the full AI journey for different roles.
