Toyota Kirloskar reports 19% rise in retail sales at 19,608 units in June
Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) said on Saturday that its wholesale sales increased 19 percent to 19,608 units in June, compared with 16,512 units in the same period last year.
Domestic dispatches reached 18,237 units, while overseas shipments rose to 1,371 units last month.
“Since the launch of the Urban Cruiser Hyryder and Innova Hycross, we have seen continued acceptance by our customers,” Atul Sood, Vice President, TKM (Sales & Strategic Marketing) said in a statement.
Combined with the consistent performance of the newly introduced Camry Hybrid, Fortuner, Legender, Vellfire, Glanza and Hilux product lines, the company is able to maintain positive performance.
Sood noted that the commencement of three shift operations in the plant has played a vital role in enhancing operational capabilities and meeting the growing demand for products.
