Tata Power installs EV charging stations in West Bengal’s Malda
Tata Power on Friday said it has set up public charging stations at a hotel in Malda, West Bengal, bringing the total number of electric vehicle mobility infrastructure across the state to more than 150.
It has installed two electric vehicle charging stations with a capacity of 30 kW and 7.4 kW at the hotel, which is located 5 km from Malda Railway Station, on Kolkata-Siliguri Highway.
All travelers or tourists coming to the hotel can make use of the Tata Power EZ Charge mobile app to find the nearest charging stations while on the go. The company said more than one person in India has already downloaded the app.
Tata Power currently has a network of 4,000 additional charging points, over 40,000 home chargers (for private use), 250 additional electric bus charging points, and direct EV charging network in 550+ cities across India to build sustainable EV mobility infrastructure, added. .
