Suzlon Group bags 47.6 MW wind energy project in Gujarat from KP Group

A project of this scale could provide electricity to 36,000 households and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 1.42 thousand tons annually.

Suzlon Group, which provides renewable energy solutions, has secured an order for a 47.6 MW wind power project from KP Group in Gujarat.

However, the company did not disclose the value of the order.

The company said in a statement that the project is located in Vajra in Bharuch district in Gujarat and is expected to start work in 2024.

Suzlon will supply the S133 wind turbine (equipment supply) and supervise the implementation and operation of the project. It will also provide comprehensive post-commissioning operations and maintenance services.
