SLCM launches agri-logistic listing platform

SLCM (Sohan Lal Commodity Management)A post-harvest agro-logistics company has launched its own listing platform under the Agri Reach app.

According to a company statement, this platform has enlisted every stakeholder involved in the agro-ecosystem – from loaders, truck drivers, warehouses, financiers, packaging material providers, traders, processors, retailers and millers to exporters.

It aims to provide a one-stop destination close to the shopping complex but for those involved in agriculture, making it ideal for those looking for in-house solutions for all their farming needs, she said.

Sandeep Sabharwal, CEO of SLCM Group, said that technology and innovation are the cornerstones of SLCM. This platform will allow the desired service to reach those who operate on the ground by bridging the gap between their offering and the digital ecosystem. From bottom to top, this platform will help build an online directory for all stakeholders and participants in the sector.

Currently, the platform has more than 1,00,000 listings. The goal is to increase this to 5,00,000+ by the end of the fiscal year, the statement said. Besides simply listing, the platform provides full details of offers for each category with a back-end to ensure a service/product physical delivery inquiry is culminated.

While the listings platform can be accessed through a mobile app that can be downloaded from the Google Play Store and Apple App Store, a web portal is slated to go live soon.
