Singapore Airlines denies media report on raising stake in Air India

Singapore Airlines said on Friday it had not raised its stake in Air India from the 25.1% stake it acquired as part of the merger of Tata Group’s Vistara to create India’s larger full-service national carrier.

The Singaporean state carrier’s statement came in response to a media report that said it had increased its stake in Air India to about 40%.
