RIL shares hit 52-week high; market valuation again reaches Rs 19 trn-mark

Shares of Reliance Industries touched a 52-week high in intra-trading on Tuesday and ended in positive territory, taking its market valuation to over Rs 19 crore.

The leading stock closed at Rs 2,822.40 apiece, up 0.93 per cent over BSE. On the day, it rose 1.48 percent to reach a 52-week high of Rs 2,838.

On the New York Stock Exchange, it rose 0.84 percent to settle at 2,820.45 rupees. The stock peaked in 52 weeks at Rs 2,837.45, recording a gain of 1.45 percent on the day.

The company’s market valuation jumped from Rs.17,456.07 crore to Rs.1,909,526.60 crore.

On July 10, the company’s shares hit a 52-week high of Rs 2,755 on BSE.

On Tuesday, the 30-share BSE Sensex Index rose 205.21 points, or 0.31 percent, to settle at a new all-time closing high of 66,795.14 points.

The NSE Nifty Index rose by 37.80 points, or 0.19 percent, to close at an all-time closing high of 19,749.25 points.
