Renewable energy firm Goldi Solar forays into power backup solutions Filesadmin.co

Renewable energy company Goldi Solar on Thursday announced its entry into the power backup solutions business with the launch of its VAMA On-network range of inverters.

The Gujarat-based company is expanding its unit manufacturing capacity to 6 GW from 2.5 GW with an investment of Rs 5,000 crore.

In a statement on Thursday, Goldi Solar said, “We have entered the smart inverter field and launched VAMA’s on-grid range of smart series inverters. The inverter range is available in single-phase and three-phase variants specifically designed for grid applications.”

On-grid inverters are systems that convert DC solar energy into a mains power source.

Goldi Solar Founder and Managing Director Ishver Dholakiya said the company is targeting a large share of the residential, commercial and industrial sectors in India over the next two to three years with its latest product.

He added, “This technology used in VAMA increases the surface area for heat transfer and enhances product performance. VAMA’s on-network inverters integrate advanced DSP control technology, ensuring higher efficiency of up to 98.6 percent.”

Goldi Solar co-founder and director Bharat Bhut said inverters will be installed at the company’s facilities in Gujarat.

It has two facilities at Pipodara and Navsari in Gujarat with a combined manufacturing capacity of 2.5 GW.
