RBI approves appointment of Kaizad Bharucha as Deputy MD of HDFC Bank, and Bhavesh Zaveri as ED
HDFC Bank He said on Thursday that the Reserve Bank of India has approved the appointment of Kaizad Bharucha as Deputy Managing Director and Bhavish Zaveri as Chief Executive Officer of the bank for a period of three years from April 19, 2023.
HDFC Bank said in a regulatory filing that the RBI’s approval comes on the recommendation of the bank’s board of directors.

A meeting of the Board of Directors will be held in due course in order to implement the appointments.
Bharucha, who was the CEO before his promotion to Deputy Managing Director, has been with the bank since 1995.
Zaveri held the position of Group President – Operations, Cash Management and ATM Products prior to his promotion as CEO. He has been working for the bank since 1998.
