Piramal Critical Care appoints US-based Jeffrey Hampton as President, COO

Piramal Critical Care, part of Piramal Pharma, said on Tuesday it has appointed Jeffrey Hampton as president and chief operating officer (COO).

For his new role, Hampton will be based in the United States.

He joined the company from Accord Healthcare, where he was President and responsible for accelerating the company’s growth strategy.

Prior to that, he was Senior Vice President and General Manager at Apotex for the US and Latin America regions.

“His experience across the areas of sales and marketing will help us develop stronger, long-term global operations strategies for profitable growth,” Peter de Jong, CEO of Piramal Pharma Global Pharma, said in a statement.

He added that his experience across all functions bodes well for the business, as Piramal Critical Care sets out its vision to further strengthen its position as a leading global player in hospital complex medicines.

Piramal Critical Care is a global leader in anesthesia, pain management and intrathecal therapy. It has a presence in more than 100 countries, including the US and European markets.
