PayU, AWS India, Chiratae Ventures collaborate to launch fintech program

Payments service provider PayU on Wednesday announced the launch of its 45-day fintech acceleration program, inFINity for early-stage Indian startups in collaboration with AWS India (Amazon Web Services) and venture capital firm Chiratae Ventures. The program aims to support the growth of early-stage fintech startups by providing access to mentorship from industry experts, curated resources, and AWS Activate credits.

The deadline to apply for the cohort is 11th August 2023. Shortlisted applicants will be announced on 17th August, and the program will commence on 31st August with three days of in-person bootcamp in Bengaluru, followed by four weeks of intensive online training.

To apply for the program, startups must either be seed ready or have raised less than $5 million in funding, seek to grow Seed funding to Series A and have a minimum viable product (MVP) developed actually.

The group will receive training and mentorship sessions, including access to experts from PayU, to “guid them to scale their business operations and broaden their customer base.”

inFINity 2023 mentors include Anirban Mukherjee, CEO of PayU Payments; Kailash Nadeh, CTO of Zrodha; Nitin Gupta, Founder and CEO, Uni Cards. Prabhu Rangarajan, Co-Founder of M2P, among others.

“The first principles approach has much higher odds of making organizations, engineering, products and infrastructure as less wrong as possible compared to other approaches. I hope this program imbibes these principles well in emerging startups,” said Kailash Nadeh, CTO of Zerodha and mentor of the program.
