Paytm enables digital donations at Puri Jagannath temple during Rath Yatra

One97 Communications Limited (OCL), which owns Paytm brandsaid on Tuesday that it enables devotees who visit Puri Jagannath Temple to make donations using Paytm UPI and Paytm UPI Lite by scanning its QR code.

On the occasion of Rath Yatra, the company is offering VIP Darshan to select devotees who make donations through Paytm app till 25th June.

Users can win VIP Darshan in the second draw which will be announced on June 25th for Darshan on June 28th.

Winners can take up to three people with them on their VIP Darshan. The company said Paytm users from Odisha, Pankaj, Gudiya and Siddhant Anand are the first winners of the draw and will get a chance to Sugam Darshan from the Rath Yatra on June 20.

Fintech major Paytm has played a significant role in making digital donations easy and convenient.

From the comfort of their homes, devotees across India can donate to Shri Jagannath Temple, Puri from the ‘Dedication’ section of the Paytm Super App.

In addition, the company is deploying four 3D selfie zones in the temple, where devotees can take their photo against the background of the temple and its inheritance.
