Mcap: 6 of top 10 most-valued firms fall by ₹83,637.96 crore; TCS biggest laggard
Six of the top 10 companies by value suffered a combined erosion of Rs 83,637.96 crore in market valuation last week, with Tata Consulting Services (TCS)and Hindustan Unilever Infosys Hardest hit, amid a general tepid trend in stocks.
Last week, the BSE benchmark rose 78.52 points, or 0.12 percent, while the Nifty index rose 29.3 points, or 0.15 percent.
Market valuation of TCS ₹35,694.04 crore fell to ₹11,74,720.15 crore, which is the most among the top 10 companies.

Hindustan Unilevers valuation eroded by ₹18,949.45 crores to ₹6,19,281.77 crores and Infosys valuation decreased by ₹13,549.34 crores to ₹5,25,374.14 crores.
Market cap (mcap) of Central Bank of India It decreased by ₹7,675.16 crores to ₹5,16,378.05 crores and that of ITC reduced by ₹5,903.31 crores to ₹5,44,906.44 crores.
Bharti AirtelThe mcap of ₹1,866.66 crore dropped to ₹4,64,396.71 crore. but, Reliance Industries It added ₹18,233.31 crores making its market valuation ₹16,79,156.42 crores.
McCabe who HDFC Bank ₹2,459.29 crore jumped to ₹9,00,181.52 crore and that of HDFC’s ₹1,055.33 crore jumped to ₹4,89,196.37 crore.
evaluation ICC Bank 664.9 crore advances to Rs 6,55,862.83 crore.
Reliance Industries continued to rule the top 10 most valuable companies, followed by TCS, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, Hindustan Unilever, ITC, Infosys, State Bank of India, HDFC and Bharti Airtel.
