Low pressure area develops over coasts of north Andhra Pradesh, south Odisha

An area of ​​low pressure has formed off the coast of the north Andhra Pradesh and south Odisha Under the influence of a typhoon, the Met Office said here on Monday.

It added that it is likely to turn into a depression on Wednesday.

The Meteorological Department has forecast very heavy rains on Tuesday in Babatla, Krishna and West Godavari districts. All other districts of Andhra Pradesh except Anantapur, Sri Satya Sai, Anamaya, Tirupati and Chittoor may see heavy rains.

On the other hand, Vijayawada city and surrounding villages witnessed intermittent rain throughout Monday.
