LIC stake in L&T Technologies crosses 5%

Insurance specialty Life insurance company of India increased its share L&T Technologies from 4.988 percent to 5.008 percent.

In a disclosure to the stock exchanges, LIC said it purchased 21,367 shares of L&T Tech at an average price of €4,140.67. Because of this acquisition, it said, LIC’s holdings had crossed the 5 percent mark on April 21. She added that the acquisition took place between October 20, 2021 and April 21, 2023.

L&T Technologies shares closed 1.42 percent higher at $3,433.60 on BSE while LIC shares closed 0.20 percent higher at $549.30.
