ITD Cementation secures ₹1,648 crore marine contract at Vadhvan Port

ITD Cementation India Limited has secured a ₹1,648-crore contract for marine construction at the upcoming Vadhvan Port in Maharashtra’s Dahanu region. The contract, announced on December 31, 2024, involves near-shore reclamation and shore protection work for the greenfield port project.

The shares of ITD Cementation India Limited were trading at ₹536.70 up by ₹3.70 or 0.69 per cent on the NSE today at 3.27 pm.

The project falls under the company’s ordinary course of business, according to a regulatory filing with the BSE and NSE. The contract value excludes Goods and Services Tax (GST).

ITD Cementation, which has been operating in India for nine decades, specializes in heavy civil engineering and infrastructure projects. The company has established expertise across various sectors, including maritime structures, mass rapid transit systems, airports, and hydroelectric power projects. Their portfolio also extends to tunnels, dams, irrigation systems, highways, bridges, flyovers, industrial structures, buildings, and foundation engineering.
