Ircon bags Rs 144 crore order from N F Railway Construction in Manipur

Ircon International Ltd said on Monday that it has secured orders worth Rs 144 crore from NF Steel Construction of Manipur.

The company received a Letter of Acceptance (LoA) from NF Railway Construction on 17 July.

In a regulatory filing, Ircon International Ltd (Ircon) said it has been awarded the Business Award for the supply, installation, testing and commissioning of integrated tunnel communication systems, an industrial network system based on fiber optic cable.

The laying of fiber-optic cables and other cables for the railway network will also cover the tunnels and stations in the Jiribam-Khongsang section of the Jiribam-Imphal new railway project.

The Rs 144 crore order, which was obtained through competitive bidding, is scheduled to be completed within 365 days from the LoA issuance date.

Aircon, under the supervision of the Ministry of Railways, is a leading company in the field of prefabricated construction.
