“The total amount of all crops was more than 70 liters per week, although many states faced a lack of rainfall. Most of the states experienced heavy rainfall in the past 3-4 days which either reduced the overall deficit,” said an Agriculture Department official. or transferred to the overflow area.

The area of ​​rice, which is the main grain of the fall, decreased by 26.3 percent at 26.55 liters, while all pulses combined recorded a decrease of 1.9 percent at 18.15 liters, and the area of ​​cotton, which occupied the lead at the beginning this year, decreased by 13.9 percent to 40.49 liters. lh from 47.04 lh as agriculture is disrupted in Maharashtra, Telangana, Punjab and Karnataka. After declining for a few weeks, the oilseeds area increased by 14.5 percent to 21.55 liters as of Friday. The sowing area under the feeder and coarse grains increased by 61.7 percent at 36.23 liters due to the increase in sowing of bagra. The area of ​​sugar cane increased from the same period last year by 2.8 percent at 54.40 liters.

Among the pulses, tor was sown at 1.11 L (versus 5.40 L last year), moong 11.23 L (8.73 L), aurad at 1.72 L (1.61 L) and other pulses at 4.09 L (2.76 L). In the oilseeds category, peanut sowing was reported to be 15.77 L (11.74 L) and soybean 4.61 L (5.57 L). In coarse grains, maize decreased to 8.10 lt (10.70 L), begra 25.67 lt (9.25 L), and maize to 0.98 lt (0.94 L).

Officials said sowing activities picked up last week, especially in those states that were covered by the monsoon. It is hoped that there will be more planting this year under all crops as the July forecast indicates that the overall distribution will be good, except for some pockets in inner Karnataka, inside Tamil Nadu and south Bihar, officials said.
