IIL launches new insecticide to tackle paddy stem borers

Insecticides (India) Limited (IIL) has launched, a new insecticide, Centran, to tackle stem borers in paddy.

A media statement said insecticide Centran has been developed by the research and development team of IIL. Centran is a unique blend of dual active ingredients for pest control and crop nourishment. The product supports robust root development, improves tiller growth, and delivers superior yields, ensuring a higher return on investment for growers, it said.

Quoting Rajesh Kumar Aggarwal, Managing Director of IIL, the statement said: “Farmers often face the dual challenge of safeguarding their crops from pests while improving their productivity.
