HAL, Argentinian aerospace firm FAdeA to explore collaboration in MRO space

Hindustan Aeronautics Limited and Argentina’s Fabrica de Aviones (FAdeA) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to explore possibilities for cooperation in the field of maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO).

The agreement will also include the satisfaction of any offset requirements in the event of the potential sale of HAL platforms made in the Latin America region.

The Bengaluru-based state-run HAL said in a statement on Wednesday that the agreement was signed during the ongoing Paris Air Show 2023.

Similar to HAL, it was indicated that FAdeA is an Argentine state-owned airline that is under the administrative oversight of the Ministry of Defense of the South American country concerned with the design, manufacture and maintenance of civil and military aircraft.
