Greaves Electric Mobility launches Magnus Neo electric scooter at ₹79,999

Greaves Electric Mobility Limited (GEML) today launched the Magnus Neo, an enhanced variant of its Magnus electric scooter series, with a starting price of ₹79,999 (ex-showroom). The new model will be showcased at the upcoming Auto Expo 2025 in Delhi.

The shares of Greaves Electric Mobility Limited (GEML) closed at ₹242.40 up by ₹5 or 2.11 per cent on the NSE today.

The Magnus Neo features a certified range of over 100 kilometres and a top speed of 65 kmph. It comes equipped with an LFP (Lithium Iron Phosphate) battery with a warranty of 5 years or 75,000 kilometres. The scooter offers three riding modes plus a reverse mode and includes a portable battery with a charging time of 5-6 hours.

Available in five colours, including metallic red and Glacial White, the electric scooter has 12-inch alloy wheels and optional smart connectivity features. To make the vehicle more accessible, GEML is offering financing options starting at 5.75 per cent interest per annum.

Prior to its Auto Expo debut on January 17th, the scooter completed a 2,000-kilometer journey from Bengaluru to Delhi. Starting this month, it will be available at Ampere dealerships across India.

GEML, the e-mobility division of Greaves Cotton Limited, has been manufacturing electric vehicles for over 16 years and has a customer base of nearly 3,00,000 users in India.
