GQG Partners holds 6.54% stake in Adani Transmission, invests over ₹5,645 cr

GQG Partners owns 6.54 percent stake in Bring me back the transmissionand showed the exchange file.

In March, Rajiv Jain-led GQG Partners bought a 2.5 percent stake in Adani’s company for ₹2,806 crore at ₹668.40 each. Later, it bought more shares to increase its stake to 3.54 percent, and last Friday, it acquired another 3 percent stake in wholesale deals. The shares were purchased from the promoters group.

At the current market price, GQG’s investment in Adani Transmission is worth around Rs. 5,645 crore.

Shares of the company closed up 0.8 percent at INR 773.25 on the New York Stock Exchange.
