Dhunseri Tea and Industries Narrows Net Loss in Q4, FY23; Focuses on Tea Production and Distribution
Dhunseri Tea and Industries posted a stand-alone net loss narrowing to Rs.48.55 crore in the quarter ended March 2023, from Rs.147.69 crore. Gross income grew to ₹24.26 crore from ₹20.38 crore.
Net loss in FY23 contracted to Rs.11.88 crore from Rs.98.02 crore. The gross income fell to ₹226.34 crore from ₹265.43 crore.
The Board of Directors has recommended a dividend of 30 per cent, i.e. Rs 3 per equity share of Rs 10 each for the financial year 22-23, subject to the approval of the shareholders at the Ordinary General Assembly.
Dhunseri Tea & Industries Limited It is engaged in the production and distribution of tea. The company has tea packing and blending units located at Dhunseri Tea Estate, Jaipur. Through its subsidiaries, DTIL has acquired tea plantations in Malawi and Southeast Africa.
