Bank of Baroda Introduces UPI-based Cash Withdrawal at ATMs for Enhanced Security and Convenience

Bank of Baroda (BoB) Recently announced a new way to withdraw cash online Unified Payments Interface (UPI) at all of its ATMs, according to reports. This step is in line with Reserve Bank of India (RBI) Ordered banks to offer an interoperable cardless cash withdrawal (ICCW) option.

Cardless cash withdrawal from ATMs

Head to the Bank of Baroda ATM

Choose “UPI Cash Withdrawal”

Enter the amount you wish to withdraw.

Scan the QR code from the ICCW built into the UPI

Step 5: Authorize the transaction using a mobile UPI PIN

The new facility aims to protect people from cloning, impersonation, and fraud. It generates a unique QR code for each transaction. With ATM UPI service, customers can avail just 2 transactions per day per account, with a limit of INR 5,000.
