Ashwani Kumar new MD & CEO of UCO Bank

Ashwani Kumar has been appointed as the new Managing Director and CEO of City Public Sector UCO Bank with effect from 1st June.

A statement issued by the bank on Saturday said that prior to that, he was the CEO of the state-owned Indian bank and a qualified chartered accountant.

Kumar, an experienced banker, succeeds SS Prasad as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of UCO Bank.

He previously worked at Bank of Baroda, Corporation Bank, Oriental Bank of Commerce, Punjab National Bank and Bank of India.
