Karnataka Bank hosts fintech partnership programme in Bengaluru
Karnataka Bank It hosted the first edition of “KBL – FinOne”, a fintech partnership event, at Bengaluru on Friday with the aim of establishing collaborations to develop innovative business models, provide a seamless banking experience and offer a full product suite. Fintech companies participated in the program.
A media release said that the first edition of “KBL – FinOne” featured more than 30 speakers from various fintech companies, and they delved into some interesting and relevant topics such as emerging lending models, new banks, and platform creation, including no-token-low token, merged finance, card infrastructure, payment innovations, and so on.
Quoting Srikrishnan H, Managing Director and CEO of the bank, the statement said that Bank of Karnataka looks forward to co-creating a digital ecosystem with robust and innovative solutions. He said this would complement the bank’s wealth of 100 years of trusted banking experience and strengths in technology and financial technology products.
Sekhar Rao, CEO of the bank, said: “We are quite confident that we will get some fruitful results from the lessons learned from this meeting which saw the participation of representatives from some of the leading fintechs in the industry who have caused significant disruptions in the financial space. With this series of “KBL – FinOne” we announce the beginning of a new chapter in the development of innovative business models by partnering with fintechs that will stand the test of sustainability and compliance with regulatory frameworks.
