RIL stock rises by 1.19 per cent after demerger
Last September, Reliance Industries proposed spinning off its digital fintech division, receiving shareholder approval in May and final approval from the National Company Law Tribunal in June. The severance ratio is 1:1, with each Reliance Industries shareholder receiving one share of JFSL if held on or before July 19. On July 20, Reliance Industries informed shareholders that the acquisition cost of RIL shares after the separation is 95.32 percent and the RSIL stake is 4.68 percent.

Shares of Reliance Strategy Investment, the separate entity, were valued at ₹ 262 at the end of a private trading session on stock exchanges. the Reliance Industries Shares rose 1.19 percent to 2,619.75 rupees at 01:35 pm on the Bahrain Stock Exchange.
