Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy’s shares rise over 5% after block deals

Shares of Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy rose more than 5 per cent in morning trading after two big deals on the New York Stock Exchange where 35 thousand shares, or 1.8 per cent of its shares, traded for more than Rs 100 crore.

The bid price for the positions was €295.25 while the ask price was €298, which is the price at which the shares ended on Thursday.

It was not immediately known who the buyers and sellers were.

At 10.29 am, Sterling and Wilson Renewable shares were trading almost flat with a positive bias at ₹298.65 on the NSE.
